Bumped once again, new delivery date is now 10/18-10/24. To recap: Blend date 8/16, by the start of September it was headed my way. Ford Chat and railroad tracking had it arriving at a railhead in Winston-Salem on 9/6. So it'll be spending just shy of two months sitting in a parking lot. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can deal with this? It's one thing for them to not be able to build a truck because they don't have a component. But this is very basic delivery stuff, 70 miles from the railhead to the dealership.

I'm in the same boat as you. My truck has been sitting at the final rail location 30 miles from my house since 9/11. Just waiting on a convoy for that final leg. There was another member who's truck sat at the same location as mine for about a month I believe. I haven't really seen a reason on why this is happening. The leading theory is shortages on convoy but that doesn't really explain why others that shipped after me through the same Mira Loma station have already received their trucks.

Mine has been sitting at a location about 30 miles from my house since 9/11. ETA has been bumped four times now. Latest is ETA 10/18-10/24.

This is exactly my situation. Mine's in Winston as well. I have no clue why it keeps getting bumped.

Did you also order through Huntersville Ford? I've been emailing with the general manager and he's trying to gaslight me into believing the ETA hasn't changed.

No change yet. Still 9/30 - 10/06 after one delay bump. Chat seems to be a lesson in futility, so I haven't bothered.

Delay is costing higher interest rates and now higher ESP. Frustrating.

Ford really needs to take responsibility for delivery if they ever expect to implement online ordering as their intended method of selling vehicles. Us early adopters for a high demand vehicle are upset enough. No way casual customers will put up with this #$%^.

No, I'm in the triangle. My dealer has been very good, with constant communication. But he says there is nothing he can do other than keep checking in with his Ford rep. Apparently, Ford doesn't give him specifics as to why it's still in Winston.

Just got done with chat.. no change. I did get a survey and told Ford that a bunch of people are frustrated with the shipping process. Not that it will do any good though.

Update (not sure I should call it that): Last known post in the tracking system is still 9/21 in IL. No change to estimated delivery window (9/29-10/5). @spinnerbait from the 8/22 built week was just told via chat that his vehicle is on route from Richmond to his dealer in Bay Area, NorCal so hoping we are close.

Posted an update in the 8/22 group earlier, but after pretty much no update for two weeks, Ford Chat told me this morning that the truck is on a convoy to my dealer. When I called them, they let me make an appointment for tonight to pick it up. Super exited...!

In my case, I called Union Pacific many times after I got the rail car info but it is still not in the system. I am not sure how they shipped it from Blue Island, IL to here. The one thing that was firm, was my ETA which never changed. I know some of you getting that moved back several times, which is a bummer.

But if the ETA is not moving, the truck might just show up at your dealer. Fingers crossed.

What was the cost of the extended? Is that the 8 year 125000? I was quoted 2600ish.

8/100,000 Premium Care including coverage for HID lights and bulbs etc, cost me $1280 with $100 deductible. Best money I will ever spend for that peace of mind.

Oooff OK. Maybe I spolied it, maybe they're uncertain on the Ford ESP price increase we're hearing about. NBD either way...easy to buy online from Granger (and faster).
