Tried the blinker test. No joy. So I'll get with the service manager in the morning and see what's up. I may just have to wait like everyone else if this cannot be solved.Yeah, the WAL is enabled with the BCM update. There are no further configuration steps unless you want the toggles in Sync (the APIM module).
But I don't know if you get BlueCruise 1.4 just because the IPMA is updated. Besides updating the module, there are configuration changes that have to be made to the IPMA to enable Assisted Lane Change, In-Lane Repositioning, Curve Control, etc. Just updating the module does not do that. Separately, if you want the on/off toggles the APIM/Sync needs a configuration change.
Did you try the blinker test?

Yeah. Most likely. I'll go look at the FORScan postings and see if there is something there as I'd like to show the toggles for the Blue Cruise and the WAL.You'll most likely have to use FORScan to enable the features or wait until 1.4 is pushed OTA.
The dealer has no way to enable the BC 1.4 features. Ford engineers would need to add a script to FDRS for them to do it. The only thing you have to wait for is for Amazon to bring you the cable needed for FORScan. Taking it to the dealer for what you want to accomplish is a glorious waste of your time and theirs.Tried the blinker test. No joy. I had mobile service techs come out for a recall that I thought was the BCM update, but they claimed my truck already had it and there was nothing they could do. I enabled WAL in forscan, but it does not work. Could you check and let me know what my truck needs? VIN: 1FT6W1EV7PWG*****The dealer has no way to enable the BC 1.4 features. Tech notes from December saw that there was no IPMA update showing in FDRS at that time, so they did not update anything. It was the recall for the parking sensors which require the IPMA to be updated, but since it was updated, all they did was configure the IPMA which most likely did nothing. The BCM on your truck still shows a pending updates, so the BC would need to be updated for WAL to work.I had mobile service techs come out for a recall that I thought was the BCM update, but they claimed my truck already had it and there was nothing they could do. You're the man, thank you. Is there an OTA that updates the BCM yet, or is that something that no one has yet?Tech notes from December saw that there was no IPMA update showing in FDRS at that time, so they did not update anything. Seems like the config for BC 1.4 is already on your truck, so good to go there.

Well, done is done. Hopefully you can provide me with the string to use when I get the interface for FORScan to enable those three toggles for the Blue Cruise 1.4 so lane change works and the toggles for WAL. That would be extremely helpful! 2023 Lariat. Thanks! The dealer has no way to enable the BC 1.4 features. Ford engineers would need to add a script to FDRS for them to do it. Yea, but you know how that goes. Forget it and you get it when you get it. lolYou're the man, thank you. Is there an OTA that updates the BCM yet, or is that something that no one has yet?
The changes to enable the WAL are posted publicly and no secret, but message me when you're ready and I will provide you the changes needed for the BC goodies.Well, done is done. That's normal. I changed mine to delay for 5 minutes so it doesn't spit them out every time the truck locks.Quick question for those with WAL though, when mine enable the mirrors fold first and the running boards come out. And then about 30 seconds later the running boards go back in. Is this normal behavior? Seems a little odd.
