2024 Plant Quality Hold Off-site - 10/21 Build week

I have 2024 Plat on order with a week of 10/21 build, it’s been stuck in build on the tracker since then. Checked with Ford chat and received a projected drive date the week of 11/13-11/19, doesn’t seem right. With the track still showing in build still I checked with dealer Wed. to find out if they had any info, was advised there’s some sort of QC issue, anyone else received this message for their build?

I’m hopeful this is resolved before the production shutdown next week.

Ford has been trying to reduce its cost of recalls and CSP’s for the past two years now. Having no inside info on this situation, I would venture to guess they are holding all newly produced vehicles to address issues before they get of the pen and have to pay the dealers to correct the defects.

It's likely built, but waiting on a critical improvement or part preventing it from being marked ready to ship.

You can check the modules tracking database to see if the truck is alive.

Thanks! Does appear to have a tear tag for it so I suppose that is a good sign. Hopefully the hold up is resolved soon.

I was hoping a search of your build would shed some light into what is holding up your truck. Most times, if there is something concerning, it is detailed in the ETA Disposition column. But, alas, there is nothing there. Sorry.

They are estimates of when the status might change to the next stage, often these deadlines are breached while waiting for parts or technician time to implement a production repair or perfection.

When your truck reaches the SHIPPED stage, it will indicate the estimated time to arrive at the dealer.
