Good luck with that. I ordered mine 12-25, and it still hasn't shipped. I contacted them 12-27 to find out what the shipping status was, and they finally replied yesterday saying it would ship out right away yesterday. Still hasn't shipped.

Hate to be a "Debbie Downer" but...according to Ford, Tesla "forbids" using other adapters than the ones they provide - they mention that multiple times on their FAQ page as noted below.

So use these other after-market adapters at your own risk.

https://www.ford.com/support/how-to...ow-do-i-get-a-fast-charging-adapter-nacs/#FAQ

WARNING: Ford does not recommend or endorse specific aftermarket adapters.
• To avoid the risk of serious injury and property damage, only use NACS DC adapters sold or provided by Ford or Tesla for use at Tesla Superchargers.
Tesla prohibits the use of any other adapter with Tesla charging stations.
• Do not attempt to use NACS AC adapters with NACS DC Fast Chargers. Failure to follow these instructions may result in vehicle damage not covered
by the vehicle warranty.
• Ford does not guarantee compatibility with aftermarket charging adapters.

I've used my Amazon off brand adapter twice with no issues. I'm sure many others have as well. They "Forbid" the use of any adapter other than their own? How are they going to Police that?

Boxing Day is a holiday in Canada. People get the day off ...

Scare tactics by manufacturers are BS.

OK, great, but neither Ford or Tesla have adapters available for purchase to go with my new truck.

This thread is about A2Z adapter orders
Yeah, I know.

Somebody mentioned their Ford adapter order so I replied about mine, and then the other post about 12-25 showed up and thought that was what they were referring to....

Readers should be aware that the DC versions would be "prohibited" by Tesla and "not recommended" by Ford and if they caused damage, you'd be SOOL, at least according to the Ford info page on the Tesla adapters.

Could be...

But if something goes wrong, and you were using a "prohibited" adapter, forget the warranty.
Same as using a Fram oil filter on a gas car. People can make educated decisions without people spending energy posting scare tactics like this.
