New guy here. I found some great info on other threads and rather than resurrecting an old one, I thought I would add this one. I have no relation to Bob's but bought what the site recommended and it really was plug and play. All you need is a Torx T-30 to get the old mirror off the windshield, unplug the old mirror in back with your finger and plug the OEM wiring that was plugged into the OEM mirror into the wire on the new mirror: this
NEW Advent/Gentex Frameless Auto Dim Rear View Mirror w/Homelink® V5 & Homelink® Connect Plug & Play for 2011-2024 Ford F150
Optional - Select the wire cover for your mirror kit:: No Wire Cover Needed
OPTIONAL-Do you need a windshield mounting kit?: No windshield mounting kit needed
Product ID: 100257
Homelink works great and the autodim in the mirror also still works. The only downside other than the $260+/-is that you have a few extra inches of wire and the plug to ziptie out of the way.
