This is what my ‘23 came with. Is that different from what the ‘22s had? I now have the interface with the home icon instead of the truck.

No that is what the 22’s came with prior to the GUI update.

I recall a few folk who made the dealer apply any updates before they took delivery. That's why I mentioned it. I didn't mean to imply that it was common practice.
Understood. I posted that for "expectation management" reasons. There are a lot of folks that operate under the assumption that they will be buying a vehicle with all updates performed....and some salespeople even tell them that, and then I run their VIN...and...well, you know.

I did the update and now my GOM thinks I am towing a trailer. At 80%, the graph shows 80%. I have the ER battery. The GOM shows about 150 after declaring it is adjusting because of a trailer. I don’t even have a draw bar in the truck’s receiver.

Did you pull up the towing app and tell it you don’t have a trailer? That may “unconfuse” it.

I will try that tomorrow.

Do you mean to push the towing button near the start button? I haven‘t towed anything in a week but maybe I pushed it while fumbling for the start button.

No - what trim level do you have? I keep forgetting not everyone has the Sync 4A system.

Maquis, I just did what you said, and all is well. Thank You.

And Taxman Hog, no I have never had a lighted plug in my hitch receiver. your suggestion is appreciated, and if I did have one, that could be the answer. I can tell you though that the other day I was moving a trailer around, using the backup assist feature. I probably wouldn’t have bothered to plug in the lights but the backup assist worked.
