Also the pics Ford posted does not show the memory buttons but that could be a mistake.

Am I reading this correctly that cloth seats are losing heat (XLT / Flash?) Looks like the price sheet doesn’t mention heated seats but does mention heated steering wheel.
Heated Seats are standard on all Lightning. You would see it on the Pro standard equipment and carryover to all trims from there.

comparing pricing/features on the '24 with my Lariat ER purchased a month ago: base price is the same but I noted $4175 worth of features removed.

2022 Lariat ER, rapid red
This is a dedicated video to just the MY2024 Lightning changes. Here are some highlights:
  • Lariat is only ER
  • Blue cruise is now free for only 90 days instead of 3 years with the Lariat/Platinum
  • Power deployable boards are only available as on option on the Platinum
  • Removed the partioned fold-flat lockable storage as an option to all trims
  • XLT is only SR. If you want ER, you get the Flash trim
  • 20" alloy dark carbonized wheel standard on XLT
  • Standard tow tech package on XLT and above (optional on Pro version)
  • Onboard scales have returned
  • LFP battery available later on in 2024 for XLT
  • B&O Unleashed includes 14 speakers instead of 18 on the Platinum trim
  • Charge Station Pro not included on any ER trims
  • Azure Gray Metallic and Stone Gray body colors removed. No new colors.
  • Pro Power Onboard 9.6kW is now optional on the Lariat
  • Active X (faux leather) optional on Lariat
Great. So nearly all options are actually worse

F150 Lightning Lariat ER
Aside from on board scales, generally looks like they cut/reduced a lot of options to lower pricing. I got a 23 Lariat ER with power running boards in January for $89k, so I have some options the 24 lariat will not have, but at the price I paid, I could have gotten the Platinum. I guess its the price you pay for being an early adaptor.

Excited to see the ActiveX seating option on the Lariat, especially considering how the existing leather doesn't seem to wear very well. I would prefer that over leather personally especially since you don't lose heated or ventilated seats.

Besides the elimination of rear underseat storage from all trims, the downgrade to single onbosrd charger for all non-fleet trucks is so disappointing. The level 2 max charging rate is downgraded from an industry leading 19.2kW to just 11.5kW. Yes, most EVs max out 48A or 11.5kW, but most EVs also have much smaller battery packs.
I think the practical problem is that few homes have the ability to add a 100A circuit (for 80A continuous duty at 19.2kW charging) without service upgrades costing $1000s. There’s a reason there are so many FCSP on Ebay; 19.2kW charging just wasn’t practical, or even possible, for most Lightning ER customers.
