Almost time for new tires, what are you planning on getting after the stock tires wear out?

I have GY Territory on mine. Had a chance to use them in fresh snow today. I didn't expect them to be that good. Even on packed snow at -10 c, the grip was as good as ATs on my ICE half ton truck. Had them for 3k miles. Will see how long they last.

I am thinking that I will switch from the General Tire to the Good Year tire when the time comes. At this point, I think I am getting close to halfway through the tires - with 12,700 miles on the truck.

I'm at 22k with the Generals and they are wearing great.

I am at 47k miles on my Generals and they are working fine. I have driven from MD to FLA twice, MD to GA once and MD to Denver once. All good trips.

Just turned 50k on mine. 2 measure 7/32 and 2 measure 6/32. I'll probably put another 5 to 10k miles on them before replacing them.

Trip home was 1,200 miles. Didn't notice any reduction in range. These are great tires and I highly recommend them. Right at $1,095 installed at Costco (MT has no sales tax). That includes 5 year road hazard warranty, lifetime rotations and balancing and nitrogen. There was an $80 instant coupon and I'm not sure how long that promotion is for.
How many miles and/or tread depth did you have when the Generals failed?

17k miles and plenty of tread depth. I didn't measure them. The cords in the tires clearly failed. I suspect it was from carrying a load of flooring up a slightly rough road. We now have 10k miles on the Defenders and they are wonderful. If you don't need all terrain I can't recommend the Defenders or Costco version enough. I have not noticed any reduced range.

I have had one get a huge (irreparable) puncture on the 2 miles of 3/4 minus graveled road I live off of, but otherwise okay at 26k and 5/32 tread depth. The front end is a bit sketchy in heavy rain at highway speeds now, and can't see getting through winter with them, so thinking of replacing them. Hopefully Costco has the Michelin coupon soon.

Are you still finding the Michelin range is similar to the Generals?

My factory original Hankook (‘23 Lightning) have been a joke.
18,955 miles and they are toast.

Have you tried NOT pounding what appears to be a giant wooden stake into the tread?

FWIW I have almost 20k on my Goodyear Wranglers that came on my '23 and they've still got plenty of life left. I wonder why there's so much variance in which tires game on the truck.

LOL - yeah, this week the wind in the Santa Cruz mountains had a ton of tree debris on the road and that chunk was ridiculously big and effectively killed that tire.
Can’t believe I won’t get 20k miles out of a set of properly rotated tires (from new).
