I thought of this while driving yesterday and i think it would an outstanding improvement to the climate controls usability on the 15” screen. The problem many people complain about is the amount of attention it takes to work the slider (after already having to hit the function icon) while driving. A slick solution to this would be to allow the volume dial to adjust the temp/fan/etc. after hitting the function button while the slider is visible. The user could either use the slider or turn the knob to adjust the setting.
I’m not sure if anyone has brought this up before but @Ford Motor Company should get their Always On team on this one ASAP!

To be honest I thought that was how it was going to work, and was disappointed when it wasn't dynamic. However, I can see the benefit of having a physical volume control always and predictably control volume, since it's a safety thing - if the passenger has to alert the driver, or otherwise some instruction given then there needs to be a way to instantly change the volume.
But then, the same could be said for a couple more physical buttons that have been removed...

Fun fact: when you go in reverse, the seat warmer controls shrink and are better to use. Try it.
Driving in reverse all day is hard on the neck though

You jest but in a Tesla you can say "My ass is cold" after pressing the voice activation button and it will turn on the seat heaters.
if you ask Alexa about climate, the response is that the command is not available for your car. I would think that they could add this via OTA hopefully without the Elonesk language.

You can always use Ford Voice Command. In my model y i just leave it in auto.

same for the Lightning. 67 seems to work all around so far.

You can also use typical voice commands for seat heat, heated steering wheel, heat temp or speed, passenger heat/seat, etc... I just thought it was funny that it has those fringe commands too.

The people in the mache forum thought of this idea over a year ago. So ford has had a long time to implement it.
