I didn't get another lightning but after my wife drove it she couldn't stand driving her ICE vehicle any more, she picked a Volvo C40. The C40 is in the shop now for a rattling noise coming from the sunroof and the gave us a brand new loaner XC40 which is the same car but ICE. She hates it and keeps getting out and leaving the motor running. :)
Get her an EX90. No sunroof rattle šŸ¤£

My wife doesn't really have a problem with driving it from time to time, but I don't think she would like to all the time. She does love the heated seats and how quickly the cabin warms up though, the heated seats in her car aren't anywhere near as strong as mine are

Exactly my situation. My wife loves the truck, but only as a passenger. She won't even consider driving it. She's happy with her RAV4 Hybrid. Happy wife, happy life!!!
Mine donā€™t drive my lightning either. She says itā€™s too big. The first and only time Iā€™ve heard that. šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

Here's how it all went down: I bought a Lightning, my wife decided she REALLY liked it, and so I had to go out and buy another Lightning if I wanted to drive one. (As an aside, it looks like she'll be driving the new one now, while I'll be getting "mine" back... go figure.)

I'd be curious to know how many of you also have two Lightnings in your driveway?

Let me also say, for the record, that some car dealerships really suck. I was "treated like family" and offered "the lowest price possible, that's really a great deal!" before pointing out that their great deal was >$10K above the price advertised on their web page for that same truck. I get that they are trying to make money, and walking in the door I fit the demographic for "probably not tech-savvy," but tactics like that make them just look stupid.

Anyhow. What an insanely great vehicle (and now I get to drive one again). Thanks @Ford Motor Company!
I gotta go along with your opinion on dealers, my local dealer sucked also. Found my truck through an old friend and got a smokin deal. Trouble is he is two hours away, but he is a great guy.

My wife has never driven my Lightning and will never unless I am dying and she has to. She likes to ride in it and we take it everywhere over her ICE Lexus NX. She gets nervous when I have to park it or take it into a low underground parking garage. I love it as a commuter for the low cost of operation and being up high.

Ya, I know what you mean, I have Kaiser Health Ins. and when ever I need to go into the garage . . .I always feel like the top of the cab is going to get torn off. I usually stop beneath a concrete girder and look @ the clearance, usually about 6", just feels a WHOLE lot closer...
