Hello, just wondering if anyone else has had quiet a few issues with there trucks. I had a mache gtpe that had to be lemoned as the hvb was replaced 3 times and was on its 4th go and I had instead purchased my lightning jan23. Which now is sitting at the dealer since about April. It has been in and out of dealer for around a dozen trips. Most recent was 4 times to fix the tailgate from not opening in Dec then 2 times in April for the tailgate issue. Had dropped off dro over a week got back was at worked got stopped at security to get searched and day 2 of getting back tailgate wouldn't open spent 3 hrs trying explain why it wouldn't work. Has almost become risk at job. So took back and they had a week and half got it back and tail gate worked. 5 days later 50% power service vehicle soon light Soo took it in again at beginning of May and it still sits. They changed the charge port which also has the primary wire to battery, dropped battery and changed a cell and still have same code. So 7+ weeks and they have gotten no where. Ford refused a buy back as I'm over the mile by 5k I think. They for the tailgate and other issues not had loaners so i was borrowing vehicles to carry equipment and tools for work. Well I wore out that as how often I needed a vehicle and those people need there cars as well. So Ford corp did get me a loaner a Nissan Rogue oh boy great cloth seats tan. I work in a steel mill it is a mess and so hard try to keep clean can't carry anything or tow anything. Can't take other jobs on due to no truck and Ford bwv team just keeps saying we are using all resources And have to properly diagnose the issue. I feel they have had significant amount of time to diagnose solve and fix the issue. But still at stage 1. I'm at a loss of words or ideas on what to do this is causing issues with my work and also my income significantly. He of anyone else is having any kind of issues like this. I love the truck when it works it just has been quite the let down when there is a issue. It's a computer it literally tells u everything going on.

I'm a huge Ford fan. I stuck with them through the mache issues as much I could and even my wife's aviator had a transmission explode back in 2021 Lincoln literally said we cannot get parts we will be buying this back start looking for another Lincoln in the middle of pandemic it took 5 months. It was quite a mess and yet again stuck with them bought another aviator GT black label. Then bought the mache now the truck. The support and luck I've had idk if it is finally time to move on but nothing really draws my attention like Ford's do but yea sorry for rambling.

Love to hear from others on anything me and my wife just at a loss on what to due with my truck in the middle of summer

Agree, that's some horrible luck but I'd contact a lemon law attorney. Really hope you can get it resolved quickly. I don't think the issues with the dealer are only Ford related. All brands are struggling. I had a horrible experience at my Subaru dealership when I bought a Legacy and will probably never buy another Subaru despite the brand reputation.

@Ford Motor Company needs to be notified about these issues and do the right thing - replace/buyback the truck

Hey there. Can you send over a message with your VIN and estimated mileage? I would like to see what I can do to assist with your Lightning's repairs on my end.

Look into your state’s lemon law.
Indiana 18-month 18,000 miles and no time limit set for at dealership. It states a reasonable amount of time which I feel after 30 days is past reasonable. Indiana lemon law is not very good.

Their Bev specialist filed a buyback and Ford denied it I think because she has no clue what she's doing. She filed a buyback linked to a tailgate issue, not the powertrain issue that it's in for. So I tried a new person to file under the powertrain issue. See where that goes.
