New theory: GOM handles range estimates differently depending on the source of charge. AC charge is EPA adjusted for temperature and DC doesn't reset.Good point of inquiry, the ER trucks onboard AC/DC 80 amp limit is an ideal 19.2 kWh, anything above this value is likely a DC charger.
Logically this makes sense because you are most likely to be charging at home using AC and on a trip using DC. If you are on a trip you are probably going to drive the same way after the charge as you were before the charge. Your type of driving is likely more variable when you leave your house thus the reset.
