Tried that and was unsuccessful.
If you've already tried disconnecting and reconnecting the 12V battery and still seeing problems, then it sounds like it's time for a dealer visit to correct it.

The displays are pretty vital for operating the truck, so I'm sure they'll prioritize fixing yours.

Mine is glitchy sometimes. Sometimes it’s black, freezes, no camera. Typically just shut the truck and it returns.

I know about disconnecting the 12- but what’s involved with a soft reset?
Can someone explain the steps?

Your local service shop can evaluate the issues and program the module if that's what is required.

Having issues with the display screen. Have tried all the tricks (key, soft reset and hard reset) none of it has helped. My screen is staying black not even the Ford logo when the car gets started.

Any other tips??

Took it in today. They had a cancellation so we got squeezed in instead of waiting until Halloween. Turned out to be a pinched wire or connecter.

Took it in today. They had a cancellation so we got squeezed in instead of waiting until Halloween. Turned out to be a pinched wire or connecter.
Glad they got it fixed!

I ran an errand to the hardware store yesterday and when I came out and started the truck the dashboard was dark. I've driven it around town, starting and restarting multiple times -- to no avail. I took it to the dealer today and to their credit they looked at it right away and have ordered me a new instrument panel.

Fortunately I purchased the extended warranty so all this will cost me is the $100 deductible. I like the truck but to have only 26,000 miles, it's been in the shop far too often. I was spoiled -- my 2014 Nissan Leaf and my 2017 Chevy Bolt had no issues whatsoever.

Are you over the 3 year mark? That cluster should be covered under that warranty, shouldn't have to spend the deductible on the extended.
