So I tested the Android auto Google maps with the update. Good news is it works for regular driving with EV charging routing no problem.
Downside is it does not recognize tow mode. Hence the Google maps still thinks your efficiency is the same as driving without the trailer. If you used this while towing you would run out of electrons.
You can still use maps but forget about relying on it for trip planning while towing for EV charging as it doesn't adjust down your efficiency when you connect the trailer. I'm an experienced EV owner so it doesn't impact me but still something to be weary of. Hope Ford and Google can figure this out. Seems simple enough.
