Anyone who thinks this stupidity is about saving money isn't paying attention. This is about enabling the wealthy at the expense of everyone else. Honestly, who has more control of your life, those with the resources to distort the government or someone crossing the boarder illegally? Who's really "taking" our jobs? (BTW, I've only ever been "given" jobs, what am I doing wrong?).

It is not only about Money, it is because of money. Let me explain; Government being a tool to funnel wealth from millions of working folks to a few speculators is not new and limited to one party. What is different is that no parasite has been willing to kill it's host in the past. What we are seeing now is pure madness and mostly out of spite. Elon claims he wants to save humanity but all his actions indicates he hates humans (Feds). Trump claims he loves America but seem indifferent to how many Americans he hurts. The problem is not if what these individuals think is right or wrong at the moment. It is that no one person can have a wide enough point of view to make the correct decision without being challenged. A system that allows so much concentration of wealth supports individual ambitions go unchecked and unchallenged. If it was not these guys, it would be someone else. Democracy and capitalism can not coexist. Turning off chargers may be good for a few CEOs that own oil companies or supercharger network but I doubt it is good for the tax payer that has already paid for the EV and charger installation. It is always money with a little ego sprinkled on top.
