None of those affect compatibility directly. I say that because some XLT's and all Pro's don't come with ACC and the advanced version of LKA.
Just to clear up some confusion. All Lightnings have “Lane Centering Assist“, what you call advanced lane keep, built into the rack and pinion. Fords firmware just blocks it if the ACC radar isnt detected or has error codes. If you add ACC to an XL, Lane Centering Assist will work.

Someone on my youtube channel today said they were able to eleminate the startup errors without a harness extension by putting ferrite chokes on the comma power cable (between the ODB2 port and the harness box). I cant understand why that would work, but it is worth having someone else (who doesn't have an extension harness yet) test out.

That's a good idea. I only have modified harnesses now but I have one coming in the mail. I'll give it a shot. Did he say what size? I have choke for my treadmill motor mill. It's big but I'd be curios to know the smallest we can get away with... but i thought thay the power from the obd2 wasnt required for the comma to run?

It’s not. I guess we should also try with comma power unplugged and a short harness.

Have you guys been able to test out the ferrite chokes?

Andre was going to next time he got a short harness to modify. Since my truck is an ICE i don't have any issues with the stock setup.

If you point me to the ferrite chokes to buy on Amazon, I’d be glad to try. I’m still using an unmodified harness with the annoying warnings.

Do you have the old style harness or the new one? I found out with the Mach E this weekend that they behave differently for some reason I can't decipher yet.

The first test would actually be to just unplug your ODB2 connector and see if the errors go away. If they do, then buy these:

I have the newer harness. I don't actually use the ODB2 connector, just a long usb cable.

Andre tried the ferrite cores on his USB cable at the very start of this thread and it didn't help. The youtube guy said putting the ferrites on the power cable helped, but if you aren't running the power cable then you can't put the ferrites there.
