I got you, and understand that insurance may be your core competence, which is the exact reason I like to arm myself with data points before engaging an agent. It’s very useful to me. Gotta love this forum!Correct
Impossible to establish any benchmarks, or relationships in this manner. Knock yourself out, but it's meaningless.
That’s what I’m expecting to hear from my agent. Have you heard of any environmental insurance perks for going green?$300 Cheaper than our Audi Etron that this replaced. XLT SR. My broker said he didn’t notice any difference between the Lightning and a regular F150 in terms of pricing but this could depend on the insurer.
Thank you for this insight! With 7 months left of my policy year, the increase was 205 total or $29/month.
Going from 2012 F250 PSD to the 2022 Lightning Lariat-ER, the majority of the cost increase was the comprehensive & theft/fire coverage based on the value of the newer truck, to be expected and not unreasonable. I made no changes to the full coverage factors.
Thanks for the info - Those are great rates, and would be quite a feat to achieve in our great state of Texas. You should be able to quote with your insurance company and have them tell you.
I will be going from ~$932/year for my 2020 Model 3 LR (250/500k, $0 comprehensive deductible and...I forget, $500-1k collision deductible) to ~$752/yr for a Lariat ER. I have AllState with multi car / multi policy discount in northern NJ.
Since you are in Dallas it would be interesting to see what you end up paying. Ping me when you get that all set up. I do know many factors affect the cost as noted by @hturnerfamily . For my pricing it is garage kept, total miles per year is low compared to most, I use their Drive Safe and Save beacon, pretty good credit rating. Those are just a few factors that come into it.Thanks for the reply, and advice. I'm just using the forum to crowd source some valuable information about the typical costs. In light of all of the variables, and I realize there are many, this enables us to perhaps establish benchmarks or better yet, negotiate and or ask for better rates.
