Cruise Control problems

Quick question, everytime I set my cruise control it bumps my speed up to 85mph. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue.

This is likely caused by you not understanding some of your features of your new truck. First, the truck recognizes speeds signs and also uses a database. If you have that feature turned on, then it does that when you have cruise set. It may read the wrong sign, it may have the wrong value in the database. Second, there is a setting for the speed buffer you want it to go to, which goes up to 20 miles over. So, if it sees a speed sign of 65, and you have it set for 20 over, it zooms to 85mph.

Being surprised by these features happens all the time, people don't read their manuals or sit in the truck exploring the features in settings. I recommend you do this ASAP, there are lots of features these vehicles have that are new to people.

Turn off speed sign recognition. Sometimes it see 55mph signs as 85mph.

We have some electronic school zone signs around here that go from 25 to 35 but get read as 55 by my truck about 10% of the time. Had the same issue with my PB.

Mine always jumps up from 55 to 64.

I had the same problem till I turned off speed sign recognition. That completely resolved it
