That does sound plausible. This is a large volume dealer in a ZEV state and Ford seems to have prioritized ZEV states massively.

They should have just called it a lottery, and then none of us would be mad.

Seeing as how it's a Lariat SR, maybe it was part of wave 7 and the dealer couldn't (or chose not to) find a reservation holder in their queue who was interested in a standard range Lariat trim and Ford allowed the dealership to fulfill the allocation and order as dealer stock. Ford wasn't likely to be moving those allocations to different dealers and states considering the short window of time to submit the reservation names/ids of the people wanting Lariats in wave 7.

If my speculation is accurate, I wonder how many other dealers have dealer stock coming from wave 7.

I think Ford has built DEMOS for every ev certified dealers, but just because a dealer promotes a Lightning as 'for sale' doesn't mean anything other than it's probably their DEMO that they can't sell for 6 months, or until they get another DEMO - they are not getting any 'stock' to simply sit on lots when Ford cannot already keep up with all the pre-orders it already has.

Bruh, again and again. It’s dealer Stock. I have confirmed with multiple dealers and FORD has confirmed it themselves. They can sell it on delivery.

There has already been numerous posts on Dealer Stock arriving on site and also stock on order.

I obviously don't keep up with the New York ADM/non-ADM dealers down here in Texas. But I wonder where these dealers fall? Hopefully they are good retail order guys (MSRP) getting rewarded. If they're dealers that have been charging ADM on customer orders though then Farley has some explaining to do.....

(Note I get it's okay to charge ADM on on dealer stock, but it's not ok to do the bait and switch on customer orders we have heard about).

I can confirm that both these dealers have honored MSRP for orders. The first dealer I posted honored MSRP for my personal order as well.

We have a lot of Ford dealers in the area ensuring quite a bit of competition, atleast with Customer orders.

WOW, these are our highest observed VIN's 15361 & 15506 so far, both on blue colored stickers with out the SPECIAL ORDER tag. Starting production this week and 9/16

All the DEMO's were allocated as ORDER CHARACTERS "F001" last December by FoMoCo to the EV certified dealerships.

What we are seeing now are Blue stickers, with build weeks late in the season which DO NOT have F001 as order characters, these appear to be dealer stock.

As point of humor, I'm still tracking DEMOS which have not shipped or are still in transit for many weeks.
