Dealer cannot install Trailer Brake Controller on 2024 PRO Standard Range

You can add it. You have a TRM now BUT you have to replace the TRM with one in the complete package you can’t add trailer brake with only adding the pincher controller.

if you need help I can do it for you .. the 24 lightning uses the same trailer brake package as 21-23 ICE trucks

the only possibility I can see is they are trying to add the 24 ice truck part number and that is wrong for the 24 lightning

I have an LFP battery

Not sure what the video says, but the text on that page says no, no LFP in your Lightning.

"...Ford previously noted that it plans to offer LFP battery packs in its standard range EVs into the next decade, though the standard range Mach-E is currently the only one that is available with that type of unit.
