Any expert advice is appreciated. I get a Parking Sensor Fault and my 12 volt battery is draining. Dealer states that rear wire assembly is corroded and shorting out on my 2023 F150 Lightning Lariat with 14,000 miles. I also get Trailer faults. Now my phone as key isn't working and the dash screen is only showing some of the gages. The wire assembly NL3Z 13A576ZGA is unavailable with no supply date due to a part shortage. What good is the warranty if the dealer can't get the parts. Not sure what to do now. Is there somewhere I can file a complaint so that I can get the part to the dealer? I don't have a concern with the dealer and I love the truck but having it dead and shorting out on a new vehicle is not good. Lemon Law apply if dealer can't get parts or fix? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Make sure they have ordered the part in COPIS. Then call the BEV group and open a case.

Here are a few pictures but I don't have one of the dash screen. The dealer had me restart the truck and after a minute the screen went blank and came back. They said it was related to the 12V battery being low. I deleted the phone as key and setup a new one and that works now. Seems some of my issues have resolved if the 12v battery is fully charged but I still need the rear wire assembly as shown in the last image from the dealer. I turned off the rear sensors and the battery drain message went away for now. Thanks

That is good that you're able to use your truck again. If it was me I would be taking wiring loom off and looking for the short. Isolate the problem until Ford can get the harness in.

You're not the only one that I've heard of that needs this harness and can't get it. Guy on Facebook group was asking the same questions as you are.

Ya, looks like a simple short that's draining the system.

Big problem these days with all manufacturers. Goes back to hiring unskilled mechanics for cheap, they're just parts changers. A half-skilled technician could isolate and repair the wiring. It's clearly in that section of the loom.

I would make sure the 12v is fully charged for now, that should keep the rest of the gremlins at bay until the part becomes available.

Mine was doing all of those things. And they ended up replacing the 12 V battery.

@Satter, you care more about fixing your truck than the dealership does. It's possible one of these harnesses is sitting in a warehouse or at a dealership somewhere. Google the part and start making phone calls. You might get lucky.
