As far as I can tell, you are only completing the order request at a suggested retail price. Until you sign for delivery it's anyone's guess. I researched the two dealer in my area and chose the one less likely to play games.

No. The dealer must accept your order and submit to Ford.
I think most dealers honor the online as-configured price (they can even include ADM in the configurator), but there have been cases where the dealer changed the price. It’s really not firm until you have a signed order agreement and many don’t do that until delivery.

Does completing the purchase online obligate the dealer to sell you the truck at the online price?
A few of us who were at the sale close out stage tried this, but I bailed when they offered a unsatisfactory trade in for my F250, I abandoned the online check out and finished the closing in person at the dealership.

I decided to hold off as it is using the $1795 delivery, putting me over $80k. Dealer said they will adjust this, just in case.
