Just wondering, if MSRP is different when using X-plan, would that, for example, knock one of the Lariats that is just barely over 80k down below it potentially, or is the EV rebate based on the MSRP everyone gets?

Gotcha, thanks. That would explain why I'm finding Lariats that are a couple hundred over $80k sitting around (oops to whoever ordered the mobile charger).

For the tax credit the truck has to be under 80 excluding the delivery fee. So knock off $1,500 or whatever the fee is and that truck will qualify.

It doesn’t matter what you paid for the EV or which plan you used to buy it. The ONLY number for a Lightning that matters to qualify for the EV tax credit is the one circled in my Window Sticker attached.

As you can see the bottom line MSRP was $81,840 and price before Desination and Delivery was the $79,845. My truck qualified for tax credit by only $155.

To be clear, it has to be $80,000 or less, not under $80,000.

There was a Lariat at a dealer I was looking to buy that was just under $80 not including destination charges. It had everything I wanted in the color I wanted. When they tried to run the VIN repeatedly on the IRS portal and the IRS said it wasn't eligible they were trying for 2 weeks to contact someone at the IRS to get it cleared. I finally gave up and purchased elsewhere as they wanted to sell it to me without the POS credit and then file for the credit myself on my taxes. Too much risk so I walked away. Not sure if they ever got it straightened out, but they did sell it about a month later.
