Another vote here for the standard Emporia EVSE.
We use excess solar to charge, but it's all manual. Between two different vendors of solar hardware and a third vendor (Emporia) for the charger, it looks like a headache for me to automate this. And I'm kinda lazy. My advice would be to try to combine all of it into a single "package" at installation if you can, and get a few more panels than you think you really need. For many reasons, I'd also suggest a battery (mine's 10 kW and I wish I had another one).
Power the house from the truck? Oooohhh, that's a third-rail topic around here... as suggested above, search a bit and you will find too many posts for anyone to really read. I use a manual transfer switch with a whip that plugs into the 240V outlet on the truck. Bob's your uncle. YMMV.

Well, I guess I will be the outlier(as usual-LOL) I use the Ford charge station pro since it came free with the vehicle. I do not have any experience with any other L2 chargers, but have been impressed overall with the FCSP. it has its quirks but works like a champ just like the vehicle!
I derate the charger (with the Ford pass app)to closely match my excess solar production (Tesla app-Powerwall3) on the days when I am home early enough to make it worthwhile but can go back to the 80A if I just need to charge it up quick using the grid or if later in the day when production is lower using both the grid and the excess solar production.
I purchased the truck mid March last year and installed the solar(after a couple years of research) beginning of July last year. I am looking at possibly adding a few panels and/or another powerwall as I underestimated how thirsty the truck would be(also how much less efficient it is during the winter both solar and the truck).-although it could also be that I have just driven more than I anticipated because it is such a blast to drive!
Good luck with your decision!
