F-150 Lightning - Lariat ER
Trying to get my head around this, read through the entire thread, the linked article and ford.com. Here's what I'm trying to find clarification on: ordered a '23 Lariat in July, it's been shipped and I should get it in the next couple weeks...paying cash...do we qualify for the $7500 "retail customer cash"?

Dealer website has one Lariat on the lot, and it lists the $7500 discount, but also with the caveat " Disclaimer: Program #11116: Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 2024-01-02. See dealer for complete details."

Gonna shoot my sales guy an email this morning, but would love to hear from someone who placed an order and is having this honored (confirmed).
I ordered a 23' Lariat in July and spoke with the dealership about the $7,500 incentive. He said I will be receiving it as long as I take delivery before the incentive ends on 1/2/2024. You should be in the same boat. The dealership loses nothing on this incentive since it comes directly from Ford.

RIght on; thanks for that. I emailed my guy today, hoping to hear a similar story. My wife is doing cartwheels right now at the prospect of saving a combined total of $15K on this truck. :D

No problem. I was going to use the 1.9% financing I was locked into until this incentive popped up. I'll pay cash for the truck now knowing I'll receive another $7,500 come tax day.

They were available when I ordered and will be valid when I take delivery. Unless I take the 7500 offered now
Talked to my dealer and confirmed that the financing rates available at the time of order will be available when the truck arrives

I'd be happy to find a dealer in Delaware,NJ. or Pa that would discount a Standard range lariat 2500.00 and give me the 7500 rebate. One dealer was back and forth all day wasting my time even though the first email outlined what I was looking for. In the end they simply said they will not offer a discount. Not sure why they could have said that right away!

Happy to report I found a dealer willing to discount a Lariat 2500 in addition to the 7500 rebate from Ford. Will be cancelling my Pro order next week.

Yes, I paid for my Lariat this week and they took the $7500 off the total. My truck shipped but hasn't arrived at the dealer yet (hopefully in a week or two or three). Not sure if they knew about the incentives until I emailed them a copy that was posted right here on this forum. Unfortunately I don't qualify for the federal tax credit, but still happy to get the $7500.

Same deal I got last week on a 2023 Lightning Lariat
$2,500 Dealer Discount
$7,500 Rebate
$7,500 Federal Tax Credit on my next tax return
Plus a got $750 off for the Ford Private Cash that I had
Plus I got $339 applied from Fordpass Points from a previous Ford truck purchase

For me the 2023 is a better deal rather than waiting for a 2024.
The 2024 has these
--Blue Cruise trial only vs 3 years included. With the 2024 it's $2,000 for 3 years
--Propower onboard is a paid option on the 2024 vs standard in the 2023 Lariat
--Universal Garage Door opener is no longer Standard on the Lariat
--Power Running board are no longer available on the 2024 Lariat
--Park Assist 2.0 is no longer included on the Lariat

Interesting read to see this....

OK so I was just at my dealer 0945 EDT today Oct 14 to start the paperwork on my 2023 Lariat that was delivered to the dealer on Oct 13. Note I ordered this on Dec 19, 2022. The dealer was invoiced a price set on June 7 that was the high figure over the last 11 months. So not only was there no comment that this $7500.00 existed but i was being charged the super high base MSRP not the 69995 that's on the books since mid July.

Nothing signed. Both the dealer and I will be contacting Ford on Monday to sort out what base MSRP applies to my truck that has a build date of August 4 on the dealers paperwork, September 1 on the website.

FYI I'm in central PA

You should definitely be getting the lower price, as well as the retail incentives. Seems like a lot of these dealers are clueless.

This might be good news for me. Does anyone know what rates were available in December 2022?

Verify this with your dealership.

The way it''s been with other Ford trucks I ordered, you can only either use incentives that were available the date of order OR incentives date of delivery. If you take the finance rates at time of order you may not be able to apply the current $7,500 rebate.

You can educate the dealer about the current incentives. Ask them to look up Program #11116, When I bought our Lightnin 9 days ago the dealer was unaware of the rebate. When we initially talked on the phone he thought I was referring to the $7,500 Tax Credit.

Thanks, i've already communicated this rebate number to the dealer. We'll see what happens.
