My thought was Ford switched from a low interest rate loan to Customer Cash
Cool thanks.
Just heard back from the GM of the local dealership. He says yes $7500 incentive, and 7500 tax credit. Yay!
I was going wait for a 24 with the heat pump….this kinda changes things. Realistically what does the heat pump mean, slightly better range? Any thing else I miss out on 23 vs 24? thanks for any thoughts.
Get the 23. The only thing nice is the heat pump, but you will pay extra for some of the features/options available in the 23. More info here.

I am, yeah
The XLT I ordered but didn’t take just shipped to there. Wound up with the 23 lariat er I originally ordered and was lucky enough to grab after the price drop.

yeah they dropped the low interest rate financing and just moved it to the cash. It’s a better deal if you have the cash you want to put down, but if you want to keep liquidity it’s a worse deal. I ran the numbers for my loan and it’s a 2500 difference in incentive, not enough to get worked up about. As far as 23 vs 24, 23 all the way. 23 vs 22, I’d go 22, but that’s not really an option

Does anyone know if this is being offered in Canada as well? Or just a US thing?

It's an incentive from Ford (not your dealership) that started October 3. I'd think you're out of luck.

Maybe a dumb question, but if you ordered a truck when special financing was available, the vehicle doesn't come in for 3 months, you can't use the previously advertised rates?

That Loan rate is a bigger deal than many think. If you're not paying cash then you really need to pay attention to the "cost to finance" because even with these discounted Lariats it can be costly.

If you got a 5 year loan for 60k at 7.5% (thats about where many of them are now) it's:

Payment Every Month
$1,202.28
Total of 60 Payments
$72,136.61
Total Interest
$12,136.61

If you had a 2.9 rate on the same loan it should be:

Payment Every Month
$1,075.46
Total of 60 Payments
$64,527.43
Total Interest
$4,527.43

Dealers I have talked to said there is no special financing for lightnings right now. The rates you quoted are special and may be available for ICE but I don't think lightning.

Maybe you hit the lottery then. I think they were targeting more the dealer stock with the discounts which noone had a rate locked in on. I was talking to long mcarthur today and they were saying it would be between 7-10% interest depending on application results. I was kinda taken aback.

When you look at the high xlt dealer stock it almost amounts to a price increase if you have to finance because they didn't even get a decent discount. Paying an extra 7k$ on interest for a high xlt is brutal. Cash is King

Bummer for those of us who ordered Pros. I was really hoping for the financing offer to still be available when I take delivery. There is no retail cash offer available for the Pro as far as I can tell...

F-150 Lightning Lariat
Hey folks, first post, prospective lariat ER buyer in CT.
Just noticed this 7500 incentive last night searching local inventory. For a week I’ve been thinking the dealers we’re advertising the 7500 tax credit inaccurately as an incentive. Now I’m hearing both are in play for a total savings of $15k?!?
Called two dealers this morning and they are acting like they know nothing of an incentive, only the tax credit. (It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if they are I’ll informed…)
Can I get both a 7500 incentive and 7500 tax credit (provided I meet the criteria) or not?
Many thanks!
Check my earlier post, same subject. My dealer said the $7500 discot is in play.

Obviously dealers can play whatever games they want, but the general procedure for most dealers is that you are eligible for the incentives that were available during your order OR when you actually take delivery, just not both (unless your dealer wants to of course).

So if you ordered during the low APR incentives, you should still be eligible for them.

Trying to get my head around this, read through the entire thread, the linked article and ford.com. Here's what I'm trying to find clarification on: ordered a '23 Lariat in July, it's been shipped and I should get it in the next couple weeks...paying cash...do we qualify for the $7500 "retail customer cash"?

Dealer website has one Lariat on the lot, and it lists the $7500 discount, but also with the caveat " Disclaimer: Program #11116: Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 2024-01-02. See dealer for complete details."

Gonna shoot my sales guy an email this morning, but would love to hear from someone who placed an order and is having this honored (confirmed).
