Values dropping like crazy. I sold my 2021 Mach e 13 months ago to my local dealer for 37k. You can get the same one with same miles for 25k, meaning 21k after used credit. Almost 50 percent in a year.

That almost seems worth it to trade up. I could lower my miles from 21k to 0. New fresh vehicle (22 to 23), battery, and tires; with no wear and tear. And $1000 on top of that. There is an XLT ER at my dealer that stickers for $72,401. Before the $7500 tax incentive, I could get it on A Plan for $61,151. So $53,651 before taxes after the fed rebate.
I thought about it. But I like my Lariat creature comforts. I would really miss the cooled memory seats. That almost seems worth it to trade up. I could lower my miles from 21k to 0. New fresh vehicle (22 to 23), battery, and tires; with no wear and tear.
Edmuds gave me an estimated offer from carmax of $43,700 to $54,444. If carmax offered the max then maybe I could upgrade with some fees. Tempting idea if I want to spend my energy looking for the deals on both sides of it.
If it makes you feel better, there's a decent sized group of us who bought the Lariat ER at the (in hindsight) very inflated price. Same trims can be found for under 70k now for a near 20k difference.I need to stop looking at this thread. Pretty depressing I could’ve gotten an extended range XLT cheaper than the standard range PRO I bought two months ago… that I waited 2 and 1/2 years for. Way to shaft your most loyal customers FORD
Yeah, I’m pretty livid. 10 days after I buy my XLT ER this rebate drops. Ford told me to pound sand. Just sucks.I need to stop looking at this thread.
