I'm having an issue with HCM changes for the glare free lights. All the other modules were able to be changed with no issues. I changed the lightbar, the seatbelt chime, the global windows, and all of the other modules for glare free, just not the HCM changes. "Service procedure has been interrupted" in the log every time I try.

I have an extended range lariat. Not sure of the build date. OBDLink EX cable. Using v2.3.49. Should I contact forscan or is there another possible fix I can try first?
I’m seeing the same error trying to modify the HCM module. I have the same cable and software version. Hopefully there is a fix to get the Glare Free headlights.

Okay so I’ve tried to do the DRL mod and successfully written them. The DRLs are not any brighter than factory. Did I miss something?

It all depends on where you are and what lights are needed. You confirmed the icon change on the dash right - it is now green? With that A in it?

From here - a few things - you have to be driving over 35 MPH or somewhere in that range and it has to be pretty dark. Do not expect them to work in town with street lights or on roads with a lot of cars. In those situations they are dimmed and you won't see a thing.

I drove with mine for a month before I found myself out of town and could see them work and test the. They are cool when working, but truly in town, they still just dim and you'll not see a thing.

Thanks for the info! However I haven’t attempted the matrix headlights yet. Wanted to start small with cranking up the brightness of the DRL lightbar. The write took but I got no change with the lightbar. Used a flashlight on the sensor to mimic daylight this evening but the lightbar never got any brighter. 🤷🏻‍♂️

So I guess that just goes to show I need to go to bed. I was thinking glare free when I replied. I’m with you on the DRL. I did that one too and never noticed any difference in the brightness at all.

Not yet. I can make the activation button show up on the infotainment but it's non-functional.
Have you tried this in conjunction with PSS setting?

I think I did try that setting. Smoke came out of the tailpipe but I wasn't able to enable the propulsion noise ;).

At least it helped you find your tailpipe...I'm still looking for mine!

Does anyone by chance still have the 2.4.6 beta from Forscan they can upload? I’m thinking the current version is the issue I’m seeing with writing to the HCM.

Received a response from Forscan. Looks like the current software is the issue that we can’t write to the HCM. I can’t get the updated beta software since I’m not a paid user. Could anyone help with that?

I have not asked for an update in a while, but maybe worth the $12 to support them. I believe that is all it was a few months ago when I signed up. Well worth that to make these updates to my truck.

I bought the extended 1 year license and can confirm the new software fixes the issues writing to the HCM. I made the changes to add glare free lighting, remove the double honk when leaving the truck with it running, and one other add on option that I will create a write up for hopefully this weekend. ;)
