Hopefully someone has encountered this before. Whenever I tap into the 6 dots in the upper left ( I call it apps) and then tap on 'Pro Power' I get the following message: "Feature Disabled - This feature requires connectivity. Please enable in connectivity settings."

I get 2 options, 'Settings' and 'Close'. If I tap on 'Close' the message goes away and ProPower functions as normal. If I tap settings, it takes me to connectivity settings where there is nothing regarding Propower.

So, while this error is not preventing functionality it is annoying. Ford's Ev connected team told me they've never heard of this and that I would have to go to a dealer for diagnosis.

I didn’t realize PPO required connectivity, apparently it does. Do you have connectivity turned off?

I didn't think PPO required connectivity either. The only thing I have disabled in connectivity settings is the hotspot feature. And again, PPO functions if I hit 'close'.

When i went out to the truck to test, the Connected Vehicle Features sub-list would not populate for a couple of minutes (delayed start-up of the Sync operating system) eventually it showed. I wonder if you happened to get a delayed pop-up for some other purpose that was ill timed for when you were trying to use PPOB? Is the problem persistent and occurs with the truck running more than the initial minute or so??

Go into the vehicle settings > Connected Vehicle Features ^

This will reveal what authorizations you previously allowed, the first item will switch off all authorizations, then acknowledge change, once disabled switch it back on, then you'll need to turn on each sub feature, for testing purposes flip them all on.

Retest your PPOB functionality. I tested mine as is originally configured with every connectivity permission on, I had no issues, then I shut the master connectivity switch off, tested PPOB and it worked normally with no pop-up warnings as you experienced. Then I switched everything back on, and still PPOB is working normally.

To answer your question. This would happen anytime I tried to enable PPO whether it be when the truck had just started or after it had been running for an hour.

I just went out, turned the truck on and disabled all connectivity via the menus you show above. I shut down the truck and let it sit for 30-60 seconds. I started it back up and toggled 'On' each individual setting. NO MORE PPO error message.

So whether or not it was related to PPO or a delayed message like you stated, the cycling on/off seemed to correct it. I'll keep an eye on it and report back if it happens again.

Thanks for the input!

Day one with my Flash, I had the same thing.
On FordPass, was a popup saying "activate security features" or something like that, which always ended with "oops".
Research told me that feature was for ICE. I dismissed it in FordPass and never saw the message again.

Probably a glitch with the ui while running Alexa.

I tried the Alexa once, never again.

The truck was fine, I was able to use remote start to warm up the cabin just fine.
All switches in the Sync system were on as I last set them.
