If it was from another vehicle, his window and headlights would have residue. Unless of course he ran over an entire case of oil and didn't notice it..

I agree with @Ricks Lightning. The transmission fluid in the Lightning is red. The spray pattern suggests the oil was released at high pressure. There's a bunch of suspects in front of the motor. My bet is a leaking line replaced or reattached plus an oil change fixes it.

If I understand the motor design, the motor oil is self contained to the motor, there are no eternal lines like you might see in an ICE application, ie. transmission cooler connections to & from the radiator.

Our motors oil is pumped internally through a few gallys and then to machined ports which interface with a oil/glycol heat exchanger, only glycol flows through the connected hoses.

Potential oil leak points are the external pump, oil filter, heat exchanger, output shafts & case mating surfaces.

Although it would be unusual for the oil to get on your own front bumper - like you point out it is possible via pin-hole and spraying under pressure.
On the other hand if this came from a vechicle in front of you, I would expect the oil to go up all over your windshield as much as below coating the undercarrige area.
Best to get it checked before worse things happen, from low fluid level somewhere.
Hope you report back what the shop finds out. Interested to know.

As my wife and I were moving to Texas, I was driving my 66 Mustang and she was behind me in her jeep.
It was a clear day as we passed through Amarillo.
She called me on the walkie-talkie to tell me that it was raining something all over her windshield. We pulled over and there was stuff on her truck, but I did not see any leaks from my car.
So we continued…
A couple minutes later I looked in the rearview mirror and there was a giant white cloud following me as the front transmission seal, let loose completely and was pouring ATF fluid on the headers and it was burning off. A quick U-turn and we only made it a mile before the transmission quit working.

To me this looks like you got behind something that really letting loose. Maybe a trash truck that lost a hydraulic line, because yes, a high-pressure line could spray stuff but doubtfully it would come out through the grill and around and back onto the front of the truck, especially at speed.

Good idea to get it checked out, but I am cautiously optimistic that your truck is OK and it just need a good degreasing
