Problems at 9469 miles on 2023 XLT

Was parked outside for over an hour in 37 degree weather. I started the truck to this error .

Called ford roadside and waited for an hour to have the tow truck company call and tell me an hour late that Ford never approved the payment for the tow. After back and forth with Ford Roadside and waiting in freezing weather for over 2 hours I gave up on Ford and I found my way home

The screen flickers almost once a week and becomes non responsive at least once a week.
Other error messages I received have been attached.

I can’t really trust this truck do the reasons shown here.

charging nightmare: I’ll keep this short. I braved a 3 hour drive from central NJ to Virginia and found my self with 23 miles of range left at an electrify America station. The location had 6 charge stations. All free to use but none would actually work. After realizing that I had only 23 miles of range and the next nearest charger is 45 miles away, I dreaded the thought of having to call ford roadside again. I called electrify America and they had me turn off all the connected vehicle features and try again. Thankfully that worked.

I present my case and ask, Is this typical ? Or did I get a lemon ?

People have had issues with Ford Roadside Assistance, yes.

You should check any EA location via FordPass before a trip, and during the trip. You can charge using Plug and Charge (if enabled), or swiping a charger via the FordPass app. Once you use up your free charging hours, you can use EA's app, getting a 25% discount via Pass+.

Check 12v battery connections and grounds.

The overtemp is a sensor problem, could be caused by 12v problems or could be the sensor itself.

Did the dealer fix it under warranty?

Agree - motor coolant warning and the high temp red meter is rare.

Check if the coolant fluid is not leaking.

Take it to a dealer for a quick top off if needed.

I don't use vehicle roadside assistance - all the years I have tried they are the worst or never arrives. I use my AAA/Auto Club card and their response has been stellar...

I got the same motor coolant warning on my 2023 Lariat ER (1,250 miles) yesterday, moments after starting the truck in my driveway. Have you found an answer as to the cause? It resolved a few hours later, and the dealer now is keeping my truck for however long it takes them to see the problem re-appear.

I didn’t get that error for the next 3000 miles. I called ford corporate this afternoon.
They are taking that vehicle to my local Ford dealer for service. Let’s see what they find.
