Can't really get 80A
Ya, i didn't think of that, mines been set at 48a since day one and I wouldn't need anything higher. I'm guessing Ford knows that too, hence dropping the 2nd charger for most of the new trucks.
I would just buy another 48a unit, my house panel is maxed now anyways.

I had the FCSP installed and used it for 1 1/2 years. When I bought a Tesla I replaced the FCSP with the Tesla universal charger. I havenโ€™t ever regretted the change. At 48 amps it suits my needs well. Itโ€™s a nice solution for the different connections.

Not sure you can charge the Tesla with the Ford charger.
Tesla NACS, to Ford supplied NACS to CCS, to tesla originated CCS to NACS, to MY. It did charge the vehicle!

I am hesitant to install the FCSP not knowing whether the FCSP and the MY would be happy together through this CCS-NACS adapter. If anyone has actually done this I would love to hear it.

Don't believe FCSP will charge a Tesla using the Tesla made CCS adapter.

Believe that CCS adapter only passes the DC power pins from CCS to the Tesla NACS. No AC power (which is what you use at home) will be passed through using that.

Never tried it, but 95% sure.

I think that is what other people have said who tried it.
I think there might have been an 'after market' adapter that claimed to work with both DC and AC L2 that someone linked to in another thread? Maybe it was this one?

But don't know if anyone tried it to verify it works.

If it works with "any" L2 J1772 source, then it "should" work with the FCSP...but I did not see any reviews that had tried it with the FCSP at the Amazon web site.
