Ford NACS adaptor case

I've been looking for a case to use for our free adaptor. This is the one I ordered. Is it perfect? No, but I'm satisfied with it.

I ordered 2 so I can show them side by side, before and after I took apart the foam insert to hold the adaptor snug.

Take the foam insert out. Peel the big panel off the back and the small, long side pieces out of the foam ring.

Then put the big panel on the bottom of the case, sticky side down, and the long thin pieces, sticky side towards the case, along the insides. That keeps the adaptor pretty snug. There is a small gap on each side, but when the lid is closed, it doesn't move. If you want a little more protection, you can put the flat panel into the mesh on the lid.

Pro tip on the case I ordered, if you cut the edges off the foam ring, it will fill in the gaps. If I keep them, I'll glue them to the sides.

I don't want to put anything in the pocket behind the seat. Once it gets stretched out, there's no going back.

Mine will live under the back seat in the storage area. I just wanted a hard cover on it. I throw rachet straps and tools there. Didn't want the pins damaged.

Thanks for posting. I have yet to receive my adapter #5131 but at least it will have a nice bed to sleep in when it gets here.

Are you talking bout trying to fit both in the A2Z case, at the same time? I doubt it. The rough dimensions of the Ford NACS adapter are 5" x 4" x 2.5".

The case recommended by the OP currently shows Sold Out. I waited until I received my adapter to do measurements. I found the Nanuk 903 hard shell waterproof case, and I bought the cubed foam filled version. After removing appropriate foam cubes, the adapter fits perfectly in this case. I am totally satisfied with this case for my adapter. Photos and an Amazon link are posted below.

I’m still using the box the adapter came in as a carrying case. The box fits nicely in the door pocket and is easily accessible when I need to charge. I know the box won’t last forever but it might at least keep me from buying a fancy case for a couple of years.

This one is cheap and a perfect fit, no foam to deal with. And it fits perfectly (at least in the Pro) in the storage space forward of the shifter / under the screen.
