So something weird happened... I was trying to figure out the height of the truck so I could use a parking garage, and when I asked "OK Ford, How tall is this truck" she responded with, "I don't know the answer to that question, but have you considered sliding into my DMs to get to know me better?"

WTF happened? My wife and I were both pretty shocked with what happened...

Wow, that's risque, though I think she was trying to convince you to connect the DM chat robot that they use linked to facebook messenger.

Ah! Perhaps that is it! That would definitely explain it!

By the way, I drove into a parking garage with a posted clearance of 8’. It was about as close as I would want to try. I had the shade on the roof open and I watched each beam go by just inches above. It was stressful. There was a free charger in the garage and the only fast charger in the area was completely inop, so parking there for a few hours of enjoying the downtown was worth the slow, nervous entry and exit.

This claimed 6'6", and we were fine. There were a couple that were close, and i took it slow, though not sure if we hit the lowest ones. Google said 77.2", which is 6'5.2".

Oh, you would know if you hit them—especially if you were sliding into your truck’s DMs at the time!😉

I knew what you meant, but couldn’t resist. I loved hearing your truck has this much character! I told my wife your story, and she appeared a bit upset. I asked what was wrong and she said, it figures that you would get a truck that will talk dirty to you while all her Tesla does is fart. 😂

I parked in a garage that was 6'5. Would not recommend.

Also to note, there are little black pieces that go higher than your roofline at the rear of the cab -- I suspect I may have hit the warning bar with them but never noticed.

And if there's snow/ice on the ground...you basically may have gained some height.

Either that sign lied, you're paranoid, or your truck is seriously lifted. You should have had well over a foot of clearance.

I routinely enter a garage at 6'6" and experience what you describe.

Yeah, I think the sign may have been wrong because the truck is not lifted. Of course, it could just be because the world is out to get me too. 🧐

What's up big Bro? You sure that was the Tesla, and not the driver...??
