traveling today from only my 2nd trip non-local. mostly interstate. stopped to charge in Hope Arkansas EA. charge went fine. but as we were about to leave in the Sync4 nav I entered our next charging stop. But the system locked up. the Nav continued to indicate that we were still in Hope. We stopped 5 miles down the road. shut off the truck, thinking a reboot would get things back on track. didn't work. so we switched to android auto for the rest of the trip. We got to Dallas about 4 hours later and the Ford Nav still showed we were in Hope. It's like it totally lost the GPS signal. upon arriving after unloading our bags, I tried the truck after one more time having it turned off for 10 minutes. It seemed to load correctly. Assuming it was just a fluke, but thought I'd report it here.

I've had this happen a couple of times. In each case a reboot from the steering wheel has solved the problem. Once it was rebooted it resumed the nav route normally.

steering wheel reboot?
Hold the VOL DOWN on the left side and the TRACK FORWARD on the right side, hold them simultaneously for 5-10 seconds

So I take that is a complete sync4 reboot? Can it be done while driving? (very slowly, of course!) drove a bit today and appeared to be working fine.

Yes, as stated in post #4. Speed is irrelevant, has no impact on driving the vehicle.
