She followed up with not knowing about the delay and said scheduling is very complex....

Seems odd , she is a higher up PR person.. I would figure a delay that appears to be pretty wide spread would have hit the pr department at that level.

Have a 5/23 build week for a ER Lariat and just received the delay email too. Wondering if that had to be in error. Or the delays are so real they are having to delay some of us already scheduled and it is going to take the rest of the summer to get everyone scheduled that already ordered. Likely means they are cutting the 2022 production from what was originally planned.

I have a reservation for a Lighting. Have not got my number pulled yet. So I ordered a MME Select to get me over the hump. I ordered on 1.26.22. I just got the delay email.

Funny I also have an ID4 Reservation just got a delay email from VW today.

We still have an ID.4 reservation from before we bought ours off the lot--also got the e-mail today. No e-mails from Ford yet on the MME or Lightning orders, but no production dates either.

Pretty sure the “delay” email is a standard CYA issuance. I got the email but the date for build didn’t change. However, if it does they can easily point to “that email we sent you.” Makes sense given all the unknowns in todays markets. Stay patient. ?

5/16 ER Lariat here, no delay production email.

I miss my chance to reserve a Lightning. It would be a dream to own one, but it's nice just to sit back and watch some of you do the same thing I did waiting on a new Ford so many times. I have a feeling the electric car will be BIG! One problem will be cash for this truck and now the war. I feel good sitting back on my money right now and waiting to see what happens next. My salesman says wait and see and one might be available from a no sale. Who knows? At any rate, it looks like Ford was a good choice for me and my family. It was my Dad that got me started with a '66 - 2017 Ford. I wish everybody luck in getting a real treasure.
