Ford Resumes Shipping NACS Charging Adapters (February 2025 batch)

I suspect that there is a different supply chain shipping to Canada. All the receipt reports are from people who've identified as from the US.

The Last report from Canada on this forum (@OMO7 on Jan 24, 73xxx) claimed they got a "Tesla" manufactured adapter.

Is Ford Canada shiping out a different supply source to Canadians, and that is why the numbers are out of whack for us?

Fordcharging.ca support desk told me 6-8 weeks. So, maybe early March?

Breaking the rules a bit to report a discrepancy...

My order is 102,6xx ordered May 9, 2024. If they are shipping in order, then I would have expected at least a shipping notice, but nuthing, and the reservation status still says est. Ship by January 2025.

But, I noticed that for any members here who self identifiy their location, all the latest receipt reports are from the US... no recent Canadian claims of receipt lately. In fact, I went back through this entire thread, and not a single report from Canada... Is there a different supply chain shipping adapters to Canada vs USA or is this just another Trump scheme to get Canada to become the 51st state?

The Canadians have been reporting in a separate thread, their adapters are coming via Canada side (Tesla / Etc) ~distributor~ .

I suspect the Canadian orders are being pulled in distinct but sequential tract as they intervened US based order numbers, no sense holding up the line because of international logistics issues. @DuBignon are you Canadian?

Now back to measuring ONLY high point values.

Just wanted to add to the forum and maybe someone can help me understand the numbering system so I can get an idea hoe much longer this might take. They are cranking them out! I ordered over the summer and received it yesterday. Timing was perfect as I had a road trip to use it on. Worked great!

Note that you need to be careful because not all tesla supercharger stations will work with the Lightning, even with the adapter. I found that out the hard way when I pulled up to a random charger station and it wasn’t compatible. I looked on FordPass and it told me of one that did work a couple miles away.

I recommend that Ford users always check the Tesla app for compatible Superchargers in areas they don't already know well.

Bummed to report that my newly received adapter is exhibiting the same issue that caused Lectron's recall last year. Mine is not locking to the NACS cable and can be pulled off without pressing the cable release lever. Tested on my Level 2 at home. Am I missing something here?

Don't want to send the thread sideways, but wondering if the issue exists for others.

I’m in the US my Oder number is around 94k and I haven’t gotten it. Ford.com still show its as arriving in Jan.
