Hey @Ford Motor Company what bugs were fixed? Because it seems to me that FordPass is a continued disappointment. Starting a charge and setting a target charge never works and it messes up the charge limit for your location. Then the vehicle charges to 100% despite setting a lower limit. It also takes over a minute for the app commands to respond as it communicates with the vehicle. This app and its integration is absolutely atrocious.

Ford has its issues but I’ll give a “pass” - no pun intended - every time for FordPass as long as it’s free. It’s probably one of the better apps and they dont charge for it. Try owning a GM or Ram product for a few weeks and I’m sure you will appreciate it more

Ford-thank you for continuing to keep the app free while your competition makes you pay for onstar or Sirius xm 360.

I don’t seem to have this experience at all. I wish they would bring back the features they used to have but my app/truck responds really fast. And I’ve not had any issue with charge limits etc. now you want to talk about garbage software try the Chevy app. It’s horrible. I’ll take ford pass all day long over that. In fact what you’re describing is what happens with the Chevy app for my wife’s blazer ev. It’s total shit.

Not sure what sympathizing has to do with it. could be a small company /big company /rich/poor/ new or old. The fact FordPass works as well as it does for free while everyone else charges for something similar is great. they lose $5b a year supposedly on us EV gang so it would be easy for them to charge for FordPass with PAAK ect but don’t as of yet.
The next generation of FordPass will not be free however which they are calling ford telematics - and can geofence our vehicles /kill switches/implement dash cams. I can see them keeping free/ stripped down FordPass to appease the ones who hate paying for anything.

I’m glad Fordpass is the best app ever for some of you. I’m telling you that it doesn’t work for me. Not once when attempting to set a charge level. How does me complaining about something bring out everyone to defend it LOL?

Also, it’s comical that some of you are resolving this with mental gymnastics about how FordPass isn’t near as terrible as other OEM’s. How is that your standard for quality? It’s completely acceptable to be a disappointed customer and complain about something YOU paid for as advertised when purchased.

Nobody said it is "the best app" give me a break. It's YOU who are claiming it's the worst, refuting that isn't in any way saying it's the best. Just because someone refuses your claim does not in any way mean they are claiming the complete opposite.

Here is an example of what happens:

Not once did I say it is the worst. I stated it was a disappointment.

Your opinion is validated and heard. Thanks. Have a nice day.

Here is a perfect example of what occurred yesterday. I set a charge limit of 80% and started a charge at 1:21p via the FordPass app. The vehicle started charging and said “Charging to 100% by ####time”. Obviously incorrect with having set a limit of 80% in the app.

So… with the charge ongoing I attempted to set the charge limit 80% instead of the 100% it was going to charge to in error. Each time I attempted to set a charge limit, it would display question marks while taking several minutes to respond in the app. Then….. it would stop the charge unprompted.

I restarted the charge several time and attempted to set a limit, each attempt resulted in the charge stopping as indicated on my Autel charge history graph. I have already submitted this feedback to production and beta versions of FordPass.

I will screen record this occurring and upload.

I think the "start" button in the app disables all schedules and limits and charges to 100%. Then when you change the charge limit (which seems to be a permanent change for that location?) it re-enables the schedule, so if you had a later charging window start, it would stop the ongoing charge.

They really haven't made it clear whether or not it's following the schedule at any given moment. Or more importantly, given us finer grained control over that.

I've noticed some other oddities about when it will start or stop if it thinks it can't finish the charge within the scheduled window. Bottom line yes, the user experience feels half baked.
