For any who might be interested, the Wear OS app is available now. I just installed it. Not sure if that is a 5.8 phone version thing or not.

Sure enough, just loaded the applet to my Watch-4

The "starting at 1:44 PM" is referring to when I plugged in after parking for the day.
Actual charging will start at 0700 hrs Friday.
I can lock/unlock, remote start climate

With 5.8.0, I now see the streamlined view on the service tab for mileage & tire pressures.
I appreciate this small but useful improvement.

I just installed in my Galaxy Watch, so that is pretty cool. It did make me add a lock screen, but it says it will stay unlocked until it detects I remove the watch. I just tested taking it off and sure enough it locked.

I am liking the new enhancements too. I know it was just adding back a previous feature, but a positive move anyhow.

I was also impressed that I got a response on Google Play to my updated review (and positive) thanking Ford for the return of the trailer light check to the app. Proof that someone actually reads the reviews, was meaningful to me.

Really making me consider getting a WearOS watch for myself this black Friday. Oneplus has a great deal on their watch right now..

Right, I was looking for that too, only accessible via the apps menu, I just slid the FP applet to the top of the pick list of app's.

I don't either. I just moved it to the top of my app screen, so I just have to swipe down and click to bring it up.

EDIT: The walk away lock gives notifications on my watch now. I had to enable notification in the wear app for Fordpass.

How are your watch batteries holding up with this new feature?
Mine is using a lot more than previously, ie. 100% to 5% in 14 hours, in the past I could get almost 2 days before charging it.

I need to do a little testing with another watch app "Walking" coach might be part of the problem.

Which watch are you guys using? Samsung? I do not see this as an option for the Pixel Watch 2....
