Widget is great! I do wonder why they don't allow you to remote start the vehicle from control center though? Lock and unlock are nice, but almost always I open the app to remote start.

Edit: Weird, the button wasn’t there for a while and then just appeared after the 3rd time opening the new app.

Love the app updates but still can’t understand why Ford can’t show the status of the vehicles locking system. Shows it’s parked but doesn’t show if it’s locked or not.

This is another baby step to more and more good things to come. It is working very well with iOS 18.2 beta 3 so that’s good to see.
Legacy auto is not a tech company so I’m glad to see this 5.8.0 release integrating well.

Patience is a virtue, but FORD…come on and bring back the trips efficiency to the app please and while you are at it how about Zone lighting and adding door lock status…..????

Would love to see the feature. FordPass already has the lock state in their servers. I can only surmise there may be a synchronization challenge if someone opens the truck in a manner that doesn't trigger a FordPass server sync, like if the truck is in deep sleep mode. In that case, the server state would be incorrectly reported. It seems like it would be an easy fix, but for now, the only way I know to get the truck out of deep sleep mode and syncing again with FordPass servers is to start it.

I don't see how to add the Widget on iOS 17.6.1. The app is not on the Widget list for me.

Unlike in the app, when I click control center lock or unlock it confirms state in the tiny little screen up near the camera.

Serious Feedback for Fordpass:
Many of us have more than one Ford, and it is very tedious switching vehicles (open fordpass, click vehicle menu, swipe, click to select vehicle, tap out of vehicle-select menu). This also effects widgets and control center)

Please implement multi Car support in widgets and control center and make it easier to swap in the app itself.

Using a phone to drive is a lot more convenient than packing that huge fob around. Good truck, stone age technology compared to my Tesla

I'm on IOS 18.1 and I don't see that FordPass 5.8.0 is available, still on 5.6.0. Anybody else?
