In the last couple of days, my FordPass app does not seem to be communicating with my truck. Indicators:
1. When I click on the "Controls" link the "Remote Controls" window opens, but it says "Disconnected."
2. I have had my truck on a level 2 charger overnight. The app still shows me at 60 percent, but the truck is charged to 100%.

Any thoughts on how to re-connect the app?

Not sure what version you are running or what model phone you have, but https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/fordpass-app-5-12-ios-available.24503/#post-473318

This is a Bluetooth connection, when my truck is in my detached garage ~ 75 ft from where I sit in the living room, mine will be disconnected.

But if the truck is in the driveway, closer to our house, then it'll show connected. It's just the BT reach.

So, there was an update a couple of weeks ago...
I have an android phone, and the App version I have is 10.1.0.

It worked fine until the last couple of days. Now I can't remotely do anything.

Should I uninstall and reinstall the app on my phone?

Telematics interruption, try force stopping the phone APP, start app to see if it updates status.
The issue could be truck side, maybe a 12v reset may help.

It would be Fordpass 5.11.0.

PIA to configure PAAK, etc.

Just Force Stop and clear cache only DO NOT CLEAR DATA or you'll need to set up PAAK again.

If Fordpass isn't updating it can be your phone, Battery saver mode (Deep Sleep mode) or the truck connectivity (and sometimes the Ford servers). In this order:
  1. Check status on Ford.com. If that info is correct, restart your phone.
  2. Start your truck (with the button/brake). Give it a few minutes to see if connectivity comes back. In many cases, the truck shuts down the modem when the 12v gets a bit low and connectivity is affected until you fully start the truck. Having the truck plugged in does not help this once your truck shuts down the modem.
  3. Check your connectivity screen on the truck. You should see the connected symbol on the screen to show the modem is connected/working
  4. If 1-3 didn't fix it, your modem could be hung on an update. If it's been more than a day, pull fuse 32 and put it back in after a few minutes. This will restart the modem and should fix connectivity.
  5. As a last resort, do a full 12v reset by pulling the negative terminal off the 12v battery for a few minutes. Try 1-4 first since that usually fixes the problem and is safer than a full reboot.
Let us know how far down the list you had to go
