What does the circled version 2.0.0 mean? Is that my sync version?
and im assuming “null” for pending updates means theres none available for my truck?

I’m trying to get this release wrapped up but I keep hitting roadblocks with the widgets hitting some seemingly arbitrary limitations with iOS widgets and not updating or rendering.
The limitations don't exist with the in-app rendered widgets so I’m trying to work with the developer of the Scriptable app to get through it.

How difficult is this to set up on the phone? i'm not terribly tech savvy when it comes to coding and all that stuff.

..and do I need to wait until I actually have my truck to install it?

That information (current software version) is not available via the widget. It will only tell you the last version that was pushed to the truck OTA and the status of that update (success, failure). If you’ve never had an update it won’t tell you anything. If you manually updated your software you still get only the last version pushed to your truck OTA even though the software may actually be more current.

On a positive note, there was an API call that returned the current SYNC version.
I will see if I can find it again and get the data in the widget.

That would be nice but there are already too many positive notes to count. This really is an outstanding effort.

Yes, v2.0 is in beta testing right now.
I think I'm going to release it to the public tomorrow pending any issues.
