That's all a remote start does for an EV. What else would it do :) ? Now you can also control temp and turn on seat heat/cool.

But I get your point, can be confusing.

Mach-E and Lightning get the fan symbol which controls HVAC, seats, etc. ICE trucks just get a slider to turn truck on.

I bet you haven't downloaded 5.0.0 yet. My wife's phone hasn't and she can revert back to the old app.

That was it. I went to Play Store and downloaded the update and now it's back to the 5.0, but it must have automatically updated earlier because I had the new one... oh well, I'm all good now. Thanks!

The home charging limit has the slider and i can scroll through the percentages but it won't let me set it to 75 percent. It still only lets me set it at 70 or 80. It's kinda dumb to not be able to set a particular percentage.

I played with that tonight as part of a process to test the adjustability the FCSP sub-module to adjust the amperage rates.

I was able to bump my max from 90 to 95%, while adjusting the slider showed 1% granularity, but would only land at 5% increments 85%, 90%, 95%...

The FCSP amperage change worked, the FCSP showed the yellow reduced rate indicator to the right of the blue light when I had lowered it to 78% earlier today.

Then I paused the charging by unplugging, adjusted the the FCSP amperage back to 90%, plugged in, but the yellow lamp was still on, so I'm not sure the revision took. I power cycled the FCSP to see it the rate change would load and clear the yellow reduced rate lamp, no joy.

Then I retried adjusting the amps and also did a slight name change [Lightning] to [Lightning ] the extra space and amperage change to 80A took, causing the yellow lamp to go out. This process is still finicky for folks want to make situational adjustments.

Trailer Light Check is gone!!! I loved that. Showed it off at campgrounds all the time.
Luckily that can still be run from the Towing app on the Sync screen, but it is a loss of remote execution.

Same pig, different lipstick. Still wants my driving data to give me my charging info. In fact they tied more info to driving data.

I just posted question about 4.37.0 as I just got both it earlier and now 5.0.0 a few minutes ago. But how do I plan a trip and have it roll in charging stops. I have first ever trip tomorrow and saved a trip in the old version, but was comparing options...now I don't see it in the new UI.

I believe we're stuck with lost route plans, try loading into Ford's native Nav app on the Sync screen, I have not looked myself, but hoping they are still there. If they are, then edit as needed from the truck.

Thanks! Just panicking since my first long trip tomorrow....lol. But I just set backup plans in Plug Share and abrp, so between those, I should be good. But hopefully it gets rolled back in eventually. Thanks!
