What you get from the OBD device or other scanner connected to the truck computer is what the truck says the battery SOC is based on whatever method the truck is using to estimate it.

So my advice it to just relax and enjoy not having to buy gasoline, and only get worried if the reported battery estimate falls into the battery warranty range.
Exactly this. Our trucks are much more accurate than the ancient float gauges used in the ICE trucks, but they're not perfect. Your PCM reports a number, but that's never going to be exact.

My truck has never shown over 130 kWh available, and that number rarely lines up with my charge/discharge numbers. It tends to read low at higher SOCs, and it's not to be trusted in the single-digits.

It's just a number, your battery is fine. Enjoy your new truck!

This is what I've typically been getting with my truck 23ER with Car Scanner. 122-127KwH at 100% SOC Display. Not sure how accurate it is though.
Mine started doing this after the last update…. So now it thinks 125 kWh is 100%. Hoping it gets better with the next one… Thanks @Ford Motor Company

@Billybender32 definitely something wrong. I’d take it into the dealer and leave it there for three weeks for them to figure out what’s wrong with it.🥹

1) Make sure you measure at a battery temp of 77 degrees.
2) Look at the SOH field and see if it's 100%.
3) Makes sure you charge from 20% or less to 100%, several times, and let it sit at 100%, before measuring. Battery cells have to balance.

1 too have a 24 flash ER . But what obd app are you guys using as I want to buy 1 that displays all the info you're showing.
Is it Bluetooth to your phone. Is there anyway to show it on the 15" screen via the app? Or do we already have this feature and I haven't played with all the apps and settings?

Rick
The Veepak OBD adapter and the CarScanner app would allow you to display dashboards they have pre configured on the 15” screen, like this:

The Apple App Store link for the SW is:

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/car-scanner-elm-obd2/id1259933623

the OBD dongle is:

Veepeak OBDCheck BLE Bluetooth... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073XKQQQW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Hope this helps!

Well was finally able to drain the battery and charge it back up and top balance it. As I was doing some of this while out of town, please ignore the 69 hours that it took as I was modulating my charger remotely to have it finish when I was home.

So drained the truck down to 10% dSOC that was showing 12 kWh in the tank.

Started it at around 10 amps 240v to stretch it to when I was anticipating returning from an out of town trip.

My charger said it was providing power for 68:54 and provided 147.288 kWh.

My FordPass notes shows 69 hours and the truck received 131.6 kWh of power over that time.

From Car Scanner the dSOC is showing 100% and shows only 128.56 kWh in the battery @ 66 deg F.

also looks like the module variation was cut in half.

Battery health is still showing 99.5% @ 17.5 month.

So wish it didn’t take as long to actually do it, but battery is closer to what I have seen in the past and “found” some of the previous lost kWh noted by me and others.
