I noticed maps allows you to add your vehicle and choose your plugs and adapters. For simplicity, what plugs should be chosen regarding the base plug and a Tesla Fast Charge adapter?

I just added mine to the vehicles settings profile in Google Maps.
I wonder if it will mis route to a version 2 station by having the NACS selected?

There is also a selection for Tesla, which I'll assume is V2 and any V3/4 stations (NOT) open to NACS

I edited my selections to eliminate J1772, I'm not really interested in level-2 if road tripping, though it would be useful for overnight hotel stops, I just need to remember to switch it back on when needed.

Thank you for the quick response!

You don't need to configure this unless you are going to be using it outside Android Auto. These settings allow you to search for chargers in Google Maps more accurately when not connected to your truck.

When your Android device is connected to your Lightning it reads the compatible plug types directly from the truck and uses the truck data while connected, not the manual settings here.

Maybe there is another setting, I don't remember, but there still has to be a way to tell Android Auto that you have a Tesla adapter as the truck would not know that.

When you are NAVIGATING with Android Auto, you can configure it.

You can make changes in GoogleMaps on your phone, but that has no impact on the vehicle or Android Auto.
