Good to know, I will be happy as long as I am scheduled with a build week no later than October. After that and we are looking at an early 2023 delivery and very likely missing half of the tax credit. It could take a few hours for the processing to complete, if not by Thursday, then you might be waiting for another month...... (that has been the scheduling trend....monthly)
I believe that the tax credit expires 2 quarters after a company hits the 200K production limit for EV so there is some buffer. However I'm not sure where Ford is on qualifying EVs.Good to know, I will be happy as long as I am scheduled with a build week no later than October. It continues for the quarter they hit and 1 following quarter. Ford is on track to hit the limit in early Q3, so any deliveries after December 31 would get a reduced credit. If Ford accelerates, they may hit the limit right at the end of WE which would mean any deliveries after Sept 30 get the reduced credit. The margin is only 5 or 6 k deliveries.I believe that the tax credit expires 2 quarters after a company hits the 200K production limit for EV so there is some buffer. Well the two Lightings listed in the order spreadsheet with actual delivery dates are 4-6 weeks from build week to estimated delivery. If there are no chip holds the ICE F150s seems to take a month from build date to delivery depending on final destination. Of course there are trucker delays now so much is going by train. My understanding is that you do not get a production build date until Ford has all parts on hand for your order. Maybe spray liner can be an additional bottleneck. I guess we'll know these numbers for Lightning once more builds start and people report. Ford has said any parts shortages, chips, seats, etc, will affect the ICE manufacturing as failure is not an option for their EVs.From build to delivery just takes 6 weeks? Is that true for ICE trucks?
Tom, check your Ford.com order page - you should be in production.Good to know, I will be happy as long as I am scheduled with a build week no later than October. After that and we are looking at an early 2023 delivery and very likely missing half of the tax credit.
Nope - no luck for me.Tom, check your Ford.com order page - you should be in production.
I just got mine - from a wave 6 invite ordered on 4/12/22 as yours was.
Production date: 7/11/22.
I wonder if the ER battery may the reason for the delay ?Nope - no luck for me.
It looks like ~30% to ~40% of those with orders in are still waiting to be scheduled (based on the folks on this forum)
Nah - lot of ER folks get scheduled too. Just the luck of the draw.I wonder if the ER battery may the reason for the delay ?
I ordered the SR battery Lariat on the same day as yours - even the same color too...
