Sure what do you need? I have a digital scope@daczone Do you have higher resolution versions of these pictures?
Super interested if this works! Would you also be able to change the volume?…But I'll change the sounds in the chip as a proof of concept to make sure that method is doable before going further.
There does appear to be a header in the flash memory with part number ML3T-14G493-AE which interestly looks like a Ford part number, but doesn't correspond to anything I can find.
I can offer a little insight here. @GDN is correct, Ford has many different characteristics for a module. For example, the number on the part itself is the Engineering number, but the box it comes in has a different service part number. But there's more. That number is likely the software version of those sounds. I know just enough to get in trouble, but there are part numbers, SW versions and strategies.

If you look at a module in FDRS you will see a list of different module characteristics like F124, F188, etc. The number you gave (ML3T-14G493-AE) is the F124 characteristic of the PACM module.
FORScan gives a limited amount of info as well. It calls F124 the Calibration number. If you look at a FORScan Connection log, it will tell you the Calibration (F124) for every module. You can also get the F124 and F188 values for any module by looking at an As-Built file in an XML parser. The PACM module has the module id "750". FYI, F188 is what we typically refer to as the Software Part Number and it changes whenever we get an OTA or it is updated in FDRS. FORScan calls it the Strategy.
For all Lightnings from 2022-2025 our Calibration/F124 is NL3T-14G493-AC. When I look at ICE Powerboosts from 22-25 their value is what you found ML3T-14G493-AE.
The first letter is the year that version of the part was used. M is 2021 and N is 2022. The next two characters are the Producty Line. Here L3 = F150/250. The fourth character is the design responsibility (T= Unassigned). The middle part of a Ford number (14G493) identifies the generic part (like headrest, wiper motor, ABS module). When it starts with 14 that means it is electrical. The suffix (AC or AE) is the revision.
TLDR: You have an ICE PACM module.
Yep, those are the lines from the <BCE MODULE> section. They are the parameters that you normally would look at changing with FORScan. Unfortunately the PACM module is not available for configuring in FORScan and it is not in @Livnitup's awesome spreadsheets. Too bad, might be some good stuff there.Interesting... There is AS-BUILT code for this module:
![]()
(Code for my VIN) but I would guess they are all the same.
When I first got the truck I also didn't hear a forward sound and only thought the motor whine was Ford's interpretation of the federal ev pedestrian law. Our kia ev6 is louder but no where near that super annoying Toyota pedestrian sound that you can hear like a 1/4 mile away.Should all trucks have that pedestrian sound when driving at slow speeds. My 24 Lariat 100% does not and never did.
So I have a database I've been building of over 80 Lightnings from 22-25 plus a handful of ICE PowerBoosts. Interestingly the 22-23's (both ICE and Lightning) do not have any PACM info in the As-Built like you show. There is nothing there in the BCE section. My own 22 has nothing. I can only see module software numbers.Interesting... There is AS-BUILT code for this module:

Mine comes on occasionally, don't know what the triggers are for it. Time for some testing.don't know that I can hear my FORWARD
Mine is a 2024 Lariat.... You sound like your doing what I did with my Ranger (Sold it to buy my Lightning). I added every option it didn't have just by changing Forscan and adding the hardware. I even added paddle shifters which the Ranger never had, but I noticed when I was adding Adaptive Cruise there were the screws for the paddles on the steering wheel. I grabbed a set of Explorer paddles and they bolted right in. The Ranger of course was far less documented than the F150 as far as Forscan goes.So I have a database I've been building of over 80 Lightnings from 22-25 plus a handful of ICE PowerBoosts. All the '24 and '25 Lightnings look to have what you have except for 750-01-01. All the 25's have 0065 instead of your 0165. For '24, some Pros (maybe fleet) also have the 0065. The ICE trucks for 24 and 25 only have useful info for 750-02-01.
That's funny because it's not like the Lightning is LITTLE... I haven't had mine long enough to know if that's a problem.Yes I feel the truck is way too quiet for pedestrians. People walk right out in front of my truck in parking lots all the time. I would simply like to boost the low speed hum sound a little more.
