Hands free not working on blue cruise route

Heading down Hwy 101 from south sf bay area towards slo, most of this should be hands-free per the map. But, it's not working 95% of the route. Anyone had this problem? Never had any problems before with hands free not working on routes where it is enabled. There are a few areas that are not enabled on 101, but in areas clearly designated as blue cruise its not working. Thanks for any insight....

I've had many time where it would say hands free and seconds later, it will say put hands on wheel. That happens kinda often lately

I just noticed in the past two days that it is not working as it had previously. It takes a very long time to kick in after indicating it is available. When I say a long time, I mean several miles where it would have kicked in previously.

Don’t know that is related, but I did just receive and load 23-PU0110-RD-PS yesterday before this started.

I was wondering if it might relate to the update as well... On the retun trip now without the sun it is working better. but even so, had never had the sun be an issue on other freeways. we couldn't see discernable pattern of it kicking off when sun was at particular angle as the freeway meandered. But I guess it could still be a software issue if it is for some reason more sensitive to glare for instance.

I have been having this problem in the last week or so in Massachusetts and Maine on roads where it has worked flawlessly for over a year. I figured I had some setting wrong, but that's not the case. If I pull off the road, shut the truck off, and restart the truck the hands free works fine. I'm suspicious that it is a bug in a recent release.

If I pull off the road, shut the truck off, and restart the truck the hands free works fine. I'm suspicious that it is a bug in a recent release.

I just had an issue last night between Barstow and Vegas. Hands free wasn't working. Out of curiosity, I turned off lane assist, waited a few seconds and turned it back on. I got a series of messages on the dash saying that lane assist failed then saying lane assist was active - which it was. But a final message saying there was a driver camera fault or something like that and that Hands Free could not be turned on and instructing me to see the manual. I haven't driven the truck today to see if it's back on working order in daylight. I'll be watching to see if anyone has insight.

I had that exact same thing happen on my Mach-E. The nanny cam had to be replaced.
