It's not as simple as the title of the thread.
1. Why does Ford only let you see updates in the last 90 days? That's dumb, IMO.
2. Can't find my last update in my vehicle on the various screens (software update, etc) or in the Ford App. The website only provides updates for the last 90 days.
3. On November 15, I had service performed for what I thought was a different software update.
4. Mid to late December- I get a letter from Ford: "Customer Satisfaction Program 23B50." I did what I thought was the smart thing and checked my truck and my app, and could not find evidence of the 23B50 update. I had even forgot I posted here in November that I had that particular update done at the dealer. I have been to the dealer several times for software updates, and just thought this was something new.
5. I called the customer service number on the letter to see what was up. Boy oh boy is that number a black hole. There was not a single option that allowed me to enter 23B50 to connect to a rep. After 30-45 minutes of frustration and waiting, the rep told me that my dealer installed the update on November 15, 2024 .
6. It's barely 45 days past November 15, 2024. Why would the 23B50 not show up on my latest software update? Because it was installed by the dealer? That's dumb.
Maybe @Ford Motor Company could do something to make the software update history easier to find and to show updates the dealer has installed on the app and in the vehicle?
