I’ve been looking forward to revealing my Stormtrooper Package Lightning!

[Grease Lightning]

I bought this truck August 7th this year. On Aug 23rd I curbed it pretty hard. It blew the 2 right tires and shattered 2 of the rims. Luckily, no other damage. Since then, I’ve been all in making the look I had visioned when I got it.

And here it is. I call it The Stormtrooper Package.

Lol. It’s cool that people have different opinions and taste. It’s a unique look so I get that it’s not for everyone. I will say the grill inserts look better in person. They make the textured pattern show more. Here’s an up close pic and a link to the store I got them for those who are interested.

Your truck looks great. I agree the grill inserts look better up close. I really like the light up Ford emblem. Where did you get it and was it hard to install?

Thank you. I got mine directly from Ford Accessories. I used the points they gave me when I bought the truck. Made it half off.

The install is pretty straightforward. I used this video.

As he says in the video, you do not need to do steps 5,6,7,&8. Just skip them all together. You can feed the wires through just fine without the extra removal. Also there is a green wire in the loom that is cut from the factory. If you connect it, you get the animation on start up.

This is the only video I’ve seen of the install. The video makes it seem more complicated that it needs to be. Putco now has a wiring harness to tap directly in to the headlights. Curious to know if this lights up with the Lightbar. I want mine to light up with the lightbar when welcome lighting turns on. Anyone got any ideas?
